Organic Tagua | Chunky | Brilliant
This gorgeous necklace was made by an artisan in the Andes of Ecuador. It’s a beaded necklace made with organic acai seeds from the Amazon rainforests of South America. This necklace is very long at 36 inches (90 cm) which will give you a wide variety of imaginative ways to wear it. This necklace is blue and white with some offsets of larger brown beads. It would look perfect on a more neutral outfit or against your favorite black or white outfit. Portions of the original organic basis shine through each bead to make the necklace a unique, one of a kind piece.
Acai trees are sustainably harvested in the rain forest. Each acai palm tree can grow acai fruit and the accompanying seeds for many years. Acai seeds are dried in the sun and become very hard. Perfect for long lasting, natural jewelry. Once acai is cleansed the the acai fruit, it is polished, and becomes very smooth and light with the color of ivory. Each bead is dyed by hand. Acai take the dye easily, so there is no need for further chemical processes.
